In walks the lil champ…

Mom : Hi !

Kid : Hey !!

Mom : how was you day ?

Kid : Good !

Mom : Good or very good ?

Kid : Very Good !!!

Mom : Why ? What happened ??

Kid : I was left out of the annual day dance Yay… !!

——————-

The guy has totally taken mine & my biwi’s genes… he was thrilled that he had been removed from his school annual day dance… he finds it utterly silly to turn around and have hands on hips… he along with 5 other girls and boys were removed yesterday from the dance and the kid was just relieved !!!!

On inquiring today his teacher said… aiyoo… he just doesnt have a dancing bone in his body !!!!!

I couldnt help chuckling when my wife narrated this incident to me !!!!

I would not be surprised if Poohi turns out that way :) But right now she thinks that she is a great dancer – she was teaching me ballet the other day :)

Me – Dance is fun… people enjoy so much while dancing… hope Poohi becomes a wonderful dancer… !!! :) Amen to that thought !!

  3. October 29, 2009 9:29 pm

Me – I find tweeting more relaxing… you can tweet when you want.. without feeling at it like a chat .. it can be done leisurely !!

  4. October 29, 2009 9:32 pm

Hitchy – does he consider dancing girly? Because Poohi told me the other day that boys don’t dance – apparently in her nursery only the girls dance :)

    • October 29, 2009 9:34 pm

no re… even in the house when we play his most loved songs… and he dances… he is just jumpy and has just no grace in his movements !!!! lol… and me and my wife are pathetic to actually teach him… :(

      • October 29, 2009 9:35 pm

Arre – let him dance the way he likes :) There is something about spontaneous dancing!

Me – Lol… if you call jumping and waving hands as if fighting… spontaneous dancing I am all for it !!!

      • October 29, 2009 10:08 pm

its chance pe dance from Rab Ne…

virtual world! if you can on the virtual world, then you an definitely in real world too…
Now, first things first, if you won’t encourage your son to dance, how will he impress girls by his dance!??

        • October 29, 2009 10:11 pm

if I teach him… whatever chances he has with girls will all go poof… I dont mind encouraging him… but who will teach him… ???

          • October 29, 2009 10:28 pm

hmm… encourage him! thats enough.. he will learn by himself…

            • October 29, 2009 10:32 pm

    • October 29, 2009 10:26 pm

I hope he learns to dance… !! its great fun.. but for now he doesnt want to… he is busy reciting a poetry for annual day… !! :)

  11. October 29, 2009 10:38 pm

See, we need to learn this attitude from kids, bilkul mast !!
I am sure when he sees other kids on the stage, he’ll also start liking it and would want to be a part next time !!
Geez, but I sooo sooo wish my lil kiddooo knows how to dance
His dad and mom are utter failure on that one :-)

    • October 29, 2009 10:47 pm

its both my and my wifes wish he dances…apart from my mom everyone in our family is with no dancing bones… !! but dance is so much fun… I see all my friends and they have so much fun… off late I have been able to let go of the shyness and enjoy !! but too late…. !!!!

  13. October 29, 2009 10:47 pm

    Cho chweet!!

  14. October 29, 2009 10:50 pm

Leave the little fellow alone. Everyone doesnt have to dance. Besides, from what I gather, he is reciting poetry on the big day. Thats much tougher.

And dont listen to his teacher say he doesnt have dancing bone in his body, aiyoo or not. For heavens sake, the fellow is still growing. I am sure he will study, dance, do poetry, and play cricket when he is older.

I also hope he blogs then…..

    • October 29, 2009 10:52 pm

I sure hope he blogs… and plays cricket !!!!

I m not forcing him for sure… !! poetry recitation… lol… we all are now being made to listen him recite it with action every half an hour… !!!! :P :P :P

  15. October 29, 2009 11:12 pm

Hehehe he is like me too then! I used to hate being a part of all that!

Good that you arent forcing all that down his throat!

    • October 29, 2009 11:14 pm

as much I as I want.. na.. forcing is one thing I ll never do… !! :)

  16. October 29, 2009 11:25 pm

    Bold guy! :)

  17. October 29, 2009 11:35 pm

Send him over to my place! and pretty soon you’ll have a dancing kid :D

  18. October 29, 2009 11:36 pm

As long as this is his attitude for being dropped out of any events at school…I must say he is one helluva winner. I hate sulking kids  My son too is a non dancer just like his dad and when I call him to shake a leg with me, the guy still joins me bringing along all his 4 legs just to make crazy mama happy

lolz I know when you say it’s a sight to watch you and hriday dance…tell me abt it…I get to see that crazy dance bina ticket ke every day

Are u sure – is it ur genes that he doesnt have a dancing bone in his body ???? YOU – the great garba dancer !!!!!!

Such a sweet incident – give a big hug to Hriday !!!! :)

My daughter wishes to opt out of such programmes if she finds that ppl she is not comfortable with, are there in it, too.

Me – as long as you havent seen me.. Uma I will still claim to be a great garba dancer… !!!!! lol… infact they lowered the pass fee after I left Bharuch… coz there wasnt enough humourous dancing for the spectators… !!!!! after I left… lol…
