Khaas Chabbees.. !

First Day Last Show.. ! Thats the rule for any movie that appeals me and if its a suspense movie all the more better to see it first day before any sadist would ruin the show…

Don’t worry I am not going to tell you about the plot at all. What I already knew about the movie from the trailer was it was about fake CBI raiding and claiming black money from politicians and rich men and then real CBI Tracking them… After ‘A Wednesday’ this was Neeraj Pandey’s movie and I was really keen to see if he comes up with an equally powerful movie…

Whilst I will not say it is as good as ‘A Wednesday’ it still is a pretty good movie to see. I loved the feel of the 80’s in the movie, I saw a bus stand with an advertisment of ‘Thrill’ the cold drink that we used to devour as kids… I also saw a girl and boy writing letters and passing to each other through a messenger!!!! Sounds seriously old fashioned doesn’t it in the age of Sms and Watsapp !? I just loved the feel of the movie that is based in the 80’s, always a sucker for nostalgia I am. 🙂

Akshay Kumar looks sincere, Anupam Kher acts naturally and Manoj Bajpai does superbly. The heroine could have been avoided as she is just wasted. The plot could have been more gripping, however, the story, the climax kind of make it up. When we see all sort of crap movies this is head and shoulders above.

I don’t believe in rating movies, but yes I would suggest this must be seen just to get an idea of the smartass Monsingh and his dare devil day heist at Tribhovandas Bhimji Jewellers office in Mumbai. The man is perhaps watching the movie and having the last laugh. 😀 😀 😀

I guess we have the same views on the movie! I too loved the 80’s feel. And I dozed off whenever the heroine came on the screen. Why was she there???
    Anyway, it’s a must watch.

Yes I heard good things about this movie… need to check it out. Yes it was based on a real life incident isn’t it?

Honestly, when will Hindi movie industry learn to avoid the hero-heroine angle in such movies?? Simply not required. I guess Akshay’s star value required a love angle 😛

You should ! Specially now that Bollywood makes movies on real stories ! Paan Singh Tomar was a fantastic movie on a real Indian story and now this ! I am loving this new Avatar of Bollywood ! Cant wait for Bhag Milkha Bhag now ! 😀

I like Manoj Bajpayee in it too… his over confidence thing came back to hit him so hard in the end… I guess they had to dramatize the event for a movie in the end… and they did it well… I doubt anyone would ahve imagined the suspense in the end ! 😀
