Tongue in cheek !

  • Mrs Hitchwriter says we love marriage wala’s cant really be called the ones who did love marriage, infact she thinks arranged marriage wala’s actually fall in love and marry, where as most love marriage wala’s have weighed all options and then fall in love !!!!! 🙄

  • Strange how when the rest of the world is switching from plastic to paper… Parle has gone from paper to plastic… Parle-G and Krackjack are prime examples… Krackjack is one of my most favourite biscuits and I seriously believe the plastic packaged Krackjack is just not at all the same as earlier while it was in paper…

  • Once on a train journey during college I was humming, “Kahi door jab din dhal jaaye…” and hone waali Mrs Hitchwriter asked me to stop as people were listening and I just said, so what, I sound like Mukesh… and a guy besides us interrupted and told hone waali Mrs Hitchwriter, “actually he does sound like Mukesh !” sigh… I seriously never have felt like hugging a guy other than my son… but that day, then, THAT was the one guy I should have hugged !!!!!!!! 😛 😛 😛 😛

    3. You meant singer Mukesh ! But he wouldve meant some other mukesh !!! 😀 😀 or probably, he made that statement because he was gay and was expecting you to hug him !!! 😀 😀 😀

last but not the least, whose tongue and whose cheek are you are talking about ???

  3. Smitha says:

So now ar eyou doubting Mrs Hitchwriter’s wisdom? Did we not prove to you that all your luck resides with her 😉

Mukesh? Are you sure he heard you right 😉 And hug him! – yes, I can understand that 🙂

Krackjack! What I would do to get hold of some! I never find anything similar here. Plastic or paper – I don’t care as far as it is krackjack 🙂

      • hitchwriter says:

Lol… dont tell me Smi you agree to the first point… even she herself doesnt but since that gyaan was coming at that point.. I thought the gyaan must be shared with blog vaasi’s !!!! 😛 😛

        I heard absolutely right ! 😀

Krackjack !!!!! 😛 😛 😛 sigh Parle was such a good company but kept selling itself.. 😦

Hide n Seek is sooooper Sakshi.. even the Parle Bourbon the new one is superb !!!!!!!

  4. Goofy Mumma says:

I know what you mean by the parle, krackjack thing. I have never enjoyed the plastic packed Parle-G as much as I used to the paper wrapped one. It was yumm.

And I like this post, smiley waala post for me in the morning!

    • hitchwriter says:

you know my school in Mumbai was in Vile Parle… and sometimes we used to go by local train and you can smell the biscuits as you pass the factory.. since then this brand is etched in my mind !!!! the paper wrapped one was definitely more crispy !!!!

      😀 😀 😀

      • Nancy says:

When I was in the 9th std, we had to do a written report on a factory and my friend & I went to Parle-G biscuits factory. We got to see the entire workings of the machinery & packaging. Whenever I think of it automatically I smell the aroma 😀

  5. comfortablynam says:

Me likes Mrs Hitchwriter..sound logic that..if a little twisted 🙂

I did not know they switched to plastic..why..??..That is like their trademark..costing them too much money ❓ ❓ ..Me wants to know the reason..else me brain goes into overload. with Mrs Hitchwriter (to be then) on this..I doubt you sound anywhere close to Mukesh. Me would like a proof before agreeing. much ‘me’ in this comment. If me continues like will forget English.. 🙂

    • hitchwriter says:

      a lil twisted ?? lol.. I thought its completely twisted !!!!!! 😛

Now now.. relax… they must have switched to plastic for money without doubt… but sigh.. wish they wouldnt have 😦

Another one is demanding to hear me… the public demand is increasing !!!! Can I hear you people… !!!!! 😀

  6. Sakshi says:

Well if you think we will all beg you to sing and put it up on your blog….YOU R WRONG!!! Friendship and all on one side and sanity and healthy ears on one side ok?

Argggh is Mrs. Hitchwriter right?? *shudders at the thought* Will stand by you on this one

  7. sandhya says:

Mrs. Hitchwriter is 100% right! You are lucky, you know!

I haven’t seen the plastic wrapped krackjack yet. The old wrapper was good enough.

    Does Mrs. HW sing?!

  8. Pixie says:

Mrs. Hitchwriter does have a point!!! 😛

Yea.. Parle G and Krackjack – older versions were better and tastier!

We need proof Hitchy! Actual proof that you sing like Mukesh!!!

I wish I had the foresight to have made you sing the day we met!! It totally slipped my mind! My bad! 😉

  9. The Quirky Indian says:

I think you need to upload an audio clip of you singing Kahin door jab din dhal jaye…..let us judge for ourselves whether you should have hugged that guy or not. Either he was right, or else, Vimmuuu is! 🙂

  10. myamusingmind says:

On point 1 , yeah true , it happened to me , fell in love after parents found the guy 🙂
On pont 3 , ofcourse you should have 😀 Some strangers are remembered for life 🙂

  11. chatterbox says:

Count me on the pressing request from all of us here for an audio clip with you singing 😀 😀

Loved the sound logic of Mrs. Hitchwriter 🙂 I agree a fair bit with her on point 1

Keep up the good work buddy 🙂

  12. Manisha says:

At the second one, to add, even poppins is packed in plastic these days..!!! i liked the feel of tearing it and then having it. But they have the paper cover also inside the plasic cover. Now they have paper and plastic together.

  13. UmaS says:

Point 1 – Didnt u weigh ur options before falling in love or atleast before marriage – Dowry that went awry – Remember ???? We, the arranged married ones really fall in love and marry !!! Give me 5, Mrs.Hitchwriter !!! You are absolutely right !!! 🙂

Point 2 – My point too – My fav Milk Bikis after the cover change, is indeed tasting different. But none agree with me. But why did Parle go to plastics ???? They couldv’e maintained the paper wrap and done a great promo on it !!!

Point 3 – You didnt hug that guy then ???? Some proof for your Mukesh’s voice and you didn’t hug him ???

    • hitchwriter says:

yea yea… arrange marriage wala’s meet before weighing the family, income, qualification et all… eh 😛 😛 😛 😛

I definitely believe the packing has led to a difference in the taste ! guess its not as crispy as bfore !

      I mean I always new it… 😛 😛

  14. Crafty Shines says:

  15. Nids says:

I love Parle Ji and Krackjack, doesn’t matter if its in paper or plastic. And on the 3rd one, you should have definitely hugged that Guy…:)

  16. Indian Homemaker says:

LOL 😆 If not hug at least you could have given him a huge grin, I am sure if a stranger said you had a voice like Mukesh, it must be true.
Not sure about love & arranged marriages and love before or after… but what Ms Hitchwriter says sounds kind of true to me.
And not just biscuits, even magazines have started coming in plastic bags 😦 This is so avoidable.

  17. Indyeah says:

regarding first point? Raam jaane 🙄

I LOVE glucose biscuits. And I dislike the new plastic wrappers 😦
    last point ? err..ummm..great post Dhiren 🙂
    Yeah great post!
*runs away before Dhiren asks for explanation* 😛

PS:-seriously though like Vimmuuu you too can put up your song..let your friends decided if you really are *cough* Mukesh 😛

  18. Nancy says:

Its obvious Mrs. Hitchwriter is the more logical person in the family 😀

And do u really sound like Mukhesh….I can decide only after I hear u singing “Ek din bik jaayega” 😀

  19. Nancy says:

Hitchwriter where r u???? Visited u in the confidence tht u wd have put up a sooper post on Sachin and his recent feat but reach here and find no atha-patha of u:-o

  20. Badz says:
